Tampa Bay, and Florida in general, might not have as many resources for building a startup as we’d like, but I think we have more than we realize. I’ve been in several conversations about the need to start centralizing these resources and Startup Weekend Tampa seemed like the perfect opportunity to jump-start that! With that in mind, I created http://tampa.startupweekend.org/resources/ and version 1.0 of the Google Doc embedded there.

The organizers of Startup Weekend were already working on brainstorming and searching for people and organizations which are related to and/or might want to be involved with the weekend (as a partner, judge, speaker, mentor, etc.). This allows us to share what we find with the you. Plus, those who aren’t in the core team organizing can contribute their shared knowledge to the benefit of everyone.

Check out what we’ve got so far and help us add and update the list. Please also share this blog entry or the page with others who you think can help contribute. We really hope this lives on long after the event in July!
